A classic 90s action adventure game with a massive, sandbox world to explore. Dat childhood… *bites lip*

1998 (The US PS1 version we are reviewing here, the N64 and PC versions were released years later)

Why listen to me over bigger tween cyborgs like IGN, Gamespot, Gamespy, Destructoid or Gametrailers? Well, I don’t just review games from the eyes of a technical, professional Haley Joel Osment. I also review games from the perspective of an actual Peter Weller.

Other games in this specific Mega Man series: The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, Mega Man Legends 2, Rockman DASH – Grand Five Island Adventure, Mega Man Legends 3 (cancelled, shame).

Other Mega Man games not part of this particular series (takes heavy breath):

Mega Man, Mega Man 2, Mega Man 3, Mega Man 4, Mega Man 5, Mega Man 6, Mega Man 7, Mega Man 8, Mega Man 9, Mega Man 10, Mega Man Battle Network, Mega Man Battle Network 2, Mega Man Battle Network 3 White/Blue, Mega Man Battle Network 4 Red Sun/blue moon, Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Protoman/ Team Colonel, Double Team DS, Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Falzar/Cybeast Gregar, Mega Man Network Transmission, Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge, Rockman EXE WS, Rockman EXE N1 Battle, Rockman EXE 4.5 Real Operation, Rockman EXE Phantom of Network, Rockman EXE The Medal Operation, Rockman EXE Battle Chip Stadium, Rockman EXE Legend of Network, Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star, Mega Man X, Mega Man X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, X8, Mega Man Xtreme, Xtreme 2, Mega Man X: Command Mission, Mega Man Zero, Zero 2,
Zero 3, Zero 4, Mega Man Zero Collection, Mega Man ZX, Mega Man ZX Advent, Mega Man Star Force: Pegasus, Mega Man Star Force: Leo, Mega Man Star Force: Dragon, Mega Man Star Force 2: Zerker x Saurian, Mega Man Star Force 2: Zerker x Ninja, Mega Man Star Force 3: Black Ace, Mega Man Star Force 3: Red Joker, Mega Man: The Power Battle, Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, Mega Man & Bass, Street Fighter X Mega Man, Wily & Right no RockBoard: That’s Paradise, Mega Man Soccer, Mega Man Battle & Chase, & Super Adventure Rockman.

If all Mega Man games were sold as a bundle, that bundle would be worth the entire GDP of France.

…And I didn’t even mention any of the mobile phone games…If you’ll excuse me, I need to lay down.

  1. What happened to the color? This looks way off from both the PS1 and N64 versions. Megaman's armor is like neon blue in this where its supposed to be a regular shade of blue (not accounting for the hidden karma system that turns Megaman's armor darker) and the skin tones on the characters looks like they got a sunburn.
Is this the PC version? I never played the PC version due to being more accustomed to playing this with a controller.
I know this ain't the Japanese PSP version.

  2. 6:41 Tron being angry is hilarious
    What are you staring at!?
I'm not a circus clown or something!
