Oh man… I remember playing this game way back in 1989 (or was it 1990?). I was in the middle of my economics degree and some buddies and I used to spend all night playing this game! Great memories of a great game. Great video, thanks!

Finally got my hands on an old windows laptop to try the demo out, is there a way to adjust the window size on the program?? Had to hook the laptop up to a bigger screen. Seems fun but a lot to get your head around..are most of these companies real or made up? Most of them at least in the industry im familiar with seem made up or the names are slightly changed, hard to tell with the demo since they don’t give you the industry lists however..I imagine the real version has a lot more companies

The older DOS version on Internet Archive is pretty addictive. May look into possibly getting this.

The game really needs a professional graphic designer

I am sure there is great code underneath those neon 1980 coloured buttons, but the game just looks quite off putting at first sight.

Just bought the game yesterday. First thing I did was create my own company. I was able to sell it for 4.8 billion, such an awesome feeling. Ugh if only it was real! Lol anyways this game is super fun and addicting

Love this game, been playing it since early 90's. I've never really focused on making the most money, instead I've always focused on being the biggest. ie owning the most companies. MIT is a beautiful target for that cause it often owns heaps. I found playing that way a lot more enjoyable. Especially trying to dominate an industry. The best I did was 61% market share in communications, when I got hit by a massive anti-trust suit lol. Great game, love it to bits.
